About Us

The Juneteenth SOULebration is a free, family-friendly event celebrating Juneteenth, an American holiday remembering the emancipation of enslaved African and African passing people throughout America and Native American territories.

Our mission is to provide a safe and inclusive space for Black business owners and artists to express their passions and share their talents with the world. To honor those who sacrificed for us, and to acknowledge the hard-work, diligence and growth of a once legally oppressed people, while also working together for a better future. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to live their dreams and that with faith, hard work, and community support, nothing is impossible.

The event will be held at the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market outdoor event space and will feature live music, food trucks, vendors, bounce house, cash cube, and more. The organizer is a follower of Jesus Christ, and their desire is to help Black people express their passions and build a community of support from people of all races who also believe in their dreams. By keeping God first and having faith, there is nothing that can’t be accomplished. This event is being put together by a family who believes in this message. Our hopes are that this message will grow and help thousands of people step out on faith. Everyone is welcome to join us for a day filled with fun, networking, and positivity – regardless of race or background!
